MeshCore bot framework ยท Texas

Bots for your mesh.

txmesh is a community-run bot framework for MeshCore networks across Texas: build your own !commands, schedule announcements, and get automated NWS weather & river-flood alerts, all answered over LoRa by your own gateway radios.

Point a MeshCore observer node at it and your bots run on the traffic your gateway hears, and everything it hears becomes insight: a live map, node roster and telemetry, topology graph, packet inspector, and shareable route traces.

We're based out of Liberty Hill, Texas, and part of the greater Central Texas mesh community, including Austin Mesh and San Antonio Mesh. txmesh is community-run and not an official service of any of them.

Running or starting a mesh elsewhere in Texas, or want to feed your metro's network into txmesh? We'd love the help getting it on the map. Reach out at [email protected].

Houston & Dallas, help us light up the map

We can already see MeshCore repeaters around Houston (Harris, Fort Bend) and the Dallas Metroplex (Dallas, Tarrant) on the map, but no local observer is feeding Houston Mesh or North Texas Mesh into txmesh yet. If you're in either metro and run a repeater or gateway, hosting an observer takes a few minutes and puts your city's nodes, topology, and traffic on the live map for everyone.

๐Ÿค– The bot framework

Define trigger !commands in a step-by-step wizard with a palette of template helpers: {seen}, {vitals}, {route}, {roll} and friends, plus scheduled announcements and automated NWS weather + river-gauge flood alerting. Run your own observer and you get your own commands: they fire only on traffic your radios hear and reply only through your gateways.

๐Ÿ“Š Insight built in

Every packet your gateway hears feeds the archive behind the bots, and you get it all as analytics: a live map and node roster, per-node telemetry, the topology graph, a per-advert packet inspector, and pathbot, which turns a !path reply into a shareable route map.
