Weather & flood alerts

public · no account needed

txmesh watches official government feeds and, when dangerous weather or river flooding hits a mesh's area, sends a short warning to that mesh over the radio. This page shows exactly what we watch, what sets off an alert, and where the data comes from. Members can also ask the mesh anytime with !nws (active weather alerts) and !flood (river gauge status).

⚠ This is a community best-effort service, not an emergency system. It relies on public NOAA/NWS feeds and can be delayed, incomplete, or offline. It is not a substitute for official warnings, a weather radio, or the guidance of local emergency officials. If you are in danger, act on official sources and common sense first. When in doubt: get to higher ground, take shelter, and never drive into water.
